Flange Welding Process

  The necessary equipment and tools: manual welding equipment, handle type angle grinder, electric hammer and a ruler. Before welding preparation: 1, checking and debugging equipment, to ensure the equipment going well;  2, to prepare electrodes for φ 4.0J506 best in 300℃ to 350 ℃ drying for one hour.

  Welding process:1,The assembly of vertebral body and the flange are assembled together according to the drawings, and then the average large flange is divided into 8 equal parts. 2, because of the thick flange welding bevel is larger, therefore, using piecewise symmetric, multi-layer welding.

  Welding quality requirements: strength of welding will be at least the parent material strength. The weld surface is smooth, no burn, hole, leakage, welding slag, weld undercut, incomplete welding etc. excess height less than 2mm.

  Note:1.  Use the J506 electrode  manual welding backing with the small welding current. Strictly according with the welding process of welding. 2, and then each welding end of a position, you should use a horizontal bar to clamp the deformation of the flange plane. 3, side   welding side hammer weld to eliminate stress.
